Notting Hill Housing forges new partnership

Notting Hill Housing has entered a new partnership with Real Lettings, it has been revealed.

By working with Real Lettings - which is a social enterprise set up by charity Broadway - Notting Hill Housing is to looking to further its attempts to reduce levels of homelessness across the capital and to improve social housing.

Now the two bodies are set to offer landlords throughout the capital access to in-house property management skills and a ready-list of tenants in a bid to offer permanent accommodation for those who have been homeless.

Sailesh Shingadia, procurement manager for Notting Hill Housing Trust, said: “We’re really pleased to have the team from Real Lettings onboard.”

“Instead of turning away landlords with smaller properties, we can work with Real Lettings to house people who would otherwise remain homeless,” she added.

Such news might be of interest to those seeking jobs in housing.

It was recently revealed that Notting Hill Housing had completed contracts on Ivax Quays, a 13-acre waterside site in Newham, which is to be transformed into a residential-led multi-purpose development.
